RCB Outreach

At Rocket City Ballet, our Outreach Program brings ballet beyond the theater and directly into the heart of our community. We perform in libraries, schools, assisted living facilities, and at local landmarks and seasonal events such as Huntsville Hospital visits, Bridge Street Tree Lighting, and Tinsel Trail. Our Liturgical Company also shares ballet in faith-based settings, performing for church services, assisted living communities, and special gatherings throughout the region.

These performances are more than entertainment; they are moments of connection, accessibility, and inspiration. We believe every person, regardless of age or circumstance, deserves the chance to experience the beauty of live dance.

We are also proud to offer VIP performances made possible in part through a grant from Arts Huntsville, helping us expand access to high-quality ballet experiences for special needs audiences, foster families, schools, and seniors. These special performances allow us to bring productions to audiences who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend.

In addition, Rocket City Ballet is committed to making the arts accessible to young people throughout our community by offering complimentary performances of both The Nutcracker and our Spring Ballet to local Title I schools. These educational and inspiring experiences introduce students to the magic of live ballet and the performing arts at no cost to their schools. School administrators and faculty interested in scheduling a performance are encouraged to contact us using the link below.

One moment continues to stay with us: after an outreach performance, a young girl approached a dancer, completely captivated. She wanted to see the tutu up close and talk about ballet, sharing how deeply she loved dance and wished she could take classes herself. In that simple exchange, something shifted. It became clear that these moments are about far more than performance - they open doors, spark dreams, and remind us why this work matters.

Through outreach, we don’t just perform ballet; we share possibilities.

As part of our mission to make ballet accessible to everyone, our dancers are available for educational and arts-related events at schools, libraries, senior centers, community spaces, and more. Contact us for details and availability. If you are part of a foster care or special needs family and would like to be added to our VIP list, contact us using the form below!
